The Plasson Imperial to Metric Conversion Insert bridges the gap between legacy imperial pipework and modern metric compression fittings,-no costly pipe replacements, no workarounds. Designed specifically for older Imperial/Class C High Density (HD) polyethylene pipes, the insert slots directly into the end of an imperial pipe and tightens straight into a standard metric Plasson mechanical coupler. Once in place, it provides the structural support and compression surface needed for the fitting's O-ring and split ring to form a leak free, 16 bar rated seal. WRAS approved and built to perform, it's the reliable, code compliant solution for connecting old infrastructure to new systems with confidence.
