The Story
Georg Fischer PVC-U 546 Ball Valve with EPDM ends.
Commonly used for use with food, fresh water, and portable water, this Georg Fischer PVC-U 546 Ball Valve has a pressure rating of PN16. This ball valve features a dynamic backing seal, modular platform design for easy and flexible adaptation, double stem seals, plain female ends with stainless steel mounting inserts, and PTFE Ball seals anti-block system.
This Ball Valve combines superior flow performance with enhanced durability. Two sealing rings have been integrated into the stem interface to provide additional safety. The ball remains seated against the flow direction for longer, increasing the life of the complete valve. The ball is also secured by an almost indestructible lever mechanism inside the body - even when closing very rapidly. This means more durability and safety as with an aluminium-tech valve as well as longer service life and improved freedom from leaks. Lockable lever operated ball valve, opens and closes when deviated by 90°.
