Our Galvanised Mild Steel Tube is a strong, durable and specially treated metal tubing, suitable for many outdoor applications and often purchased in conjunction with our handrail fittings to create various handrail configurations. All of our galvanised medium walled pipe is dual certified to BS EN 10217-1:2002 and BS EN 10255:2004 (previously BS 1387).

Strong and versatile, our mild steel tubing has undergone a hot dipped galvanisation process to give it a protective coating of zinc to prevent oxidation, making it suitable for outdoor use in all weather conditions.

As one of the most common and frequently used types of steel, mild steel offers both high strength and excellent forming properties due to its low carbon content. This makes galvanised mild steel more ductile, easier to machine, weld, cut, and drill, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of applications such as scaffold structures piping frames, non potable water and many other types of installation. Medium walled, seam welded steel pipe with plain ends, available in full random lengths (approximately 6.5m).
